The Hockey News’ Ken Campbell is reporting that Henrik Zetterberg has been cleared to play tonight for the Red Wings.

Zetterberg, who has been out since the Olympics after a chronic back problem forced him into surgery, is expected to play “limited minutes” according to the report.

The Wings’ captain had 16 goals and 32 assists for 48 points in 45 games this season, along with a +19 rating, before the surgery. He played in only one game for Team Sweden at the Sochi Games before his back problems intensified, and he return to the U.S. for surgery on Feb. 21.

Zetterberg practiced with the team yesterday, but would not give a firm answer about whether he would play tonight or not.
