Renfrew, one of the leading hockey tape brands across the globe, has announced a new type of hockey tape that they say will make tape last longer on your stick blade.

The company announced their new Pro-Blade 503XT hockey tape today that holds a distinct new look.

The Pro-Blade tape is expected to last longer on the stick blade, and stick to it longer, thanks to a superior adhesive formulation. It also features serrated edges to allow for easier tearing, while also eliminating the frayed edge that commonly comes when applying your new tape job.

The Pro-Blade 503XT black hockey tape will also feature Renfrew’s new look – bright green cores on the inside of each roll.

Expect the Pro-Blade 503 XT tape to be at your local pro shop by June 2014.
