Last night, Griffins forward Teemu Pulkkinen scored two goals in nine seconds.

That’s not a typo.

The Red Wings’ prospect fired back-to-back cannons past Milwaukee Admirals goaltender Marek Mazanec in the third period, helping his club coast to a 5-1 win.

It also helped continue Pulkkinen’s “Holy Slapper” legend, because it’s not the first time the Vantaa, Finland native showed off his ability to launch a rocket towards the opposing goal.

Check out this article on Pulkkinen where he discussed his “Holy Slapper” shot. By the way, he’s got 21 goals and 24 assists in 55 games this year – his first full season at the AHL level. The Wings drafted him in the fourth round of the 2010 NHL Draft.
