Times, musical acts announced for Winter Festival’s Coke Zero Fan Zone

The Red Wings announced today the official times and entertainment line-up for the Coke Zero Fan Zone.

The Fan Zone, free to fans with tickets to that day’s Hockeytown Winter Festival games, takes place just outside of Comerica Park from Dec. 27-31.

Coke Zero Fan Zone dates and times:

Fri., Dec. 27 1 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Sat., Dec. 28 1 p.m. – 10 a.m.

Sun., Dec. 29 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Mon., Dec. 30 1 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Tues., Dec. 31 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The 122,000 square-foot hockey fan event will have hockey-themed exhibits, interactive games and activities, autograph and photo opportunities, local music and food offerings. SnowZilla toboggan runs are $2, skating on the synthetic ice rink is $2 ($5 with skate rental), and a $5 donation to the Detroit Red Wings Foundation will provide an opportunity to get a picture with Lord Stanley’s Cup on Dec. 30-31.

 

“The expansive list of musical and family-oriented entertainment, along with the interactive games and diverse food offerings, provides a great experience for people of all ages,” said Tom Wilson, president and CEO of Olympia Entertainment, in a statement. “Regardless of whether fans are attending the hockey action inside Comerica Park or not, the Coke Zero Fan Zone provides so much to see, so much to hear and so much to do that it is a can’t-miss experience.”
