Team USA’s World Junior A Challenge roster announced

USA Hockey announced their 22-man roster for the upcoming World Junior A Challenge that takes place from Nov. 4-10 in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.

The entire roster is built from current United States Hockey League participants.

Four Michigan natives were selected for the squad, while Muskegon Lumberjacks forward Connor Hurley was also selected.

Team USA has won the tournament four out of the last five years.

 

Defensemen

Josh Jacobs, Indiana Ice – Shelby Township (Michigan State commit)

Ryan Mantha, Sioux City Musketeers – Clarkston (North Dakota commit)

 

Forwards

Kyle Connor, Youngstown Phantoms – Shelby Township (Michigan commit)

Marcel Godbout, Des Moines Buccaneers – Center Line (Michigan State commit)

Connor Hurley, Muskegon Lumberjacks (Notre Dame commit)
