By Michael Caples –

A day after announcing their Under-17 team, the National Team Development Program officially revealed their upperclassmen squad.

Dylan Larkin (Waterford) and Dylan Pavelek (Marysville) are the two Michigan members of the NTDP Under-18 team, which will be coached by Pontiac native Danton Cole.

Also headlining the roster are forward Jack Eichel and goaltender Blake Weyrick, two members of the club that helped U.S. Men’s National Under-18 Team capture silver in Sochi last year.

Nineteen members of last year’s Under-17 team return, while the club has added defenseman Jack Doughtery out of Cottage Grove, Minn. The NTDP also added forwards Shane Gersich (Chaska, Minn.) and Ryan Wagner (Park Ridge, Ill.).

The Under-18 team begins their season on the road against the USHL’s Chicago Steel on Sept. 13.

NCAA team dates include weekend match-ups against Northern Michigan and Lake Superior State on Oct. 5-6, games at Colorado College, North Dakota and Miami.

The Under-18 team will once again take on Michigan and Michigan State, as well, as they travel down the road to Yost on Dec. 5, and up to Munn on March 1.
