Two Honeybaked girls selected for U.S. National Under-18 Evaluation Camp

A pair of Honeybaked girls will be skating with the country’s best in the middle of August.

Megan Keller and Victoria Sullivan, two members of 19U Honeybaked squad that captured a state title this spring, have been selected by USA Hockey to skate at the U.S. Women’s National Under-18 Evaluation Camp, which will take place on Aug. 13-18 in Lake Placid, N.Y.

The two Honeybaked standouts are the lone Michigan representatives on the 30-girl roster released by USA Hockey today.

Keller is a 5-foot-10, 150-pound defenseman from Farmington that has committed to Boston College for 2014. Her older brother, Ryan, plays for Michigan State.

Sullivan, a 5-foot-5, 150-pound forward from West Bloomfield, will be joining Keller in Boston. She had two goals and two assists in three USA Hockey National Championship contests this spring.

    WHAT AN AMAZING ACHIEVEMENT!! A DIFFICULT CHALLENGE THAT ALL HOCKEY PLAYERS STRIVE FOR AND MOST DONT GET THERE. THESE GIRLS SHOULD BE EXTREMELY PROUD! THEIR EFFORTS HAVE WON THEM A PRESTIGIOUS AWARD! ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE!!
