Trouba, Czarnik, DeKeyser named All-Americans

The American Hockey Coaches Association, in association with CCM Hockey, announced their All-American teams today, and three Michigan natives cracked the list.

Rochester native Jacob Trouba (University of Michigan), Washington native Austin Czarnik (Miami University) and Clay Township native Dan DeKeyser (Western Michigan University) were all named to All-American squads.

Trouba, now with the Winnipeg Jets, and Czarnik were named to the West First Team. DeKeyser, now a member of the Detroit Red Wings, was named to the West Second Team.

Five Central Collegiate Hockey Association players were named to the All-American teams, with Ohio State’s Brady Hjelle and Notre Dame’s Anders Lee joining the three Michigan natives on the list.
