NHL ’14 potential cover athletes announced

EA Sports announced the players eligible for voting today, as the top hockey video game franchise once again will let fans select which player will grace the cover.

There are plenty of Michigan connections available for voting on the NHL ’14 cover in the contest that identifies who some of the most popular players are throughout the league each season.

Michigan connections include:

Red Wings goaltender Jimmy Howard #NHL14Howard

Red Wings forward Pavel Datsyuk #NHL14Datsyuk

University of Michigan alum Andrew Cogliano (Anaheim) #NHL14Cogliano

Michigan State alum Duncan Keith (Chicago) #NHL14Keith

Livonia native Ryan Kesler (Vancouver) #NHL14Kesler

East Lansing native and Michigan State alum Ryan Miller (Buffalo) #NHL14Miller

Plymouth Whalers alum Tyler Seguin (Boston) #NHL14Seguin

University of Michigan alum Carl Hagelin (New York Rangers) #NHL14Hagelin
