KOHA and Warrior team up for Hockey Day in Michigan

The Kalamazoo Optimist Hockey Association, Wings Stadium and Warrior Hockey are teaming up tomorrow for a big Hockey Day in Michigan celebration.

KOHA kids, ages 10 and under, are invited to participate in Warrior’s ‘Chara Challenge’ – a nationwide fastest shot competition. The Warren-based hockey company has set up the challenge to track each shooter’s progress, allowing kids to see how their shot stacks up with players from across the country. Players are asked to bring their skates, helmet, gloves, and a stick, though there will be Warrior sticks available to demo.

Plus, winners from each age group will win a Warrior Dynasty AX1 stick.

KOHA and Wings Stadium will also be hosting a ‘Try Hockey For Free’ clinic from noon to 1:30 p.m.
