USA Hockey announces preliminary roster for World Junior team

USA Hockey announced their preliminary roster for the 2013 U.S. National Junior Team. Two defensemen and seven forwards selected have ties to Michigan. The 27 players selected will attend the team’s training camp from Dec. 16-18 at Madison Square Garden, and a final team will be selected on Dec. 23 to represent the U.S. at the IIHF World Junior Championship in Ufa, Russia.
