Tonight the Red Wings take on Ryan Kesler, David Booth, and the rest of the Canucks out in Vancouver. It’s a battle of the top two teams in the Western Conference; Detroit leads the West with 69 points. The home team has won each game of the series so far – Detroit topped Vancouver 2-0 at the Joe on Oct. 13, while the Canucks beat the Wings 4-2 on Dec. 21 at Rogers Arena.

Team Orr topped Team Cherry last night in the CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Kelowna, B.C. The Whalers’ Tom Wilson got himself on the scoresheet by dropping the gloves with Dalton Thrower of the Saskatoon Blades in the second period.

Is there a goalie controversy in Vancouver? Roberto Luongo sure would be an expensive back-up goalie…
